About Me.

I am a curious, self driven designer with a passion for emerging technologies, advocating design thinking across all fields of work, facilitating design education, bridging diverse communities, and being a role model for underserved teens with an interest in design.

Teaching is our biggest asset in driving change. My passion for helping others comes from the guidance my mentors and design community have given me. Touched by their encouragement and willingness to teach me, I strive to do the same through my volunteer efforts.

Camp Spirit

by Axelle Lenoir

Camp Spirit was originally published in French as L’Esprit du Camp, though the team wanted to create something new that better targeted English-speaking audiences. The project was a full redesign that only made use of the previous front cover art. The resultant design kept the edgy ’90s feel of the original but focused on increasing visibility of the logo while showcasing the playful nature of the story.

The creator, Axelle Lenoir, was great to work with and was full of great feedback. In addition to being a skilled illustrator and storyteller, her professionalism and speed at delivering spot illustrations was a great help in staying comfortably ahead of deadlines. The resultant cover wrap is a little ’90s grunge, a dash of ’70s punk, and a whole lot of teen angst.
